About
My name is Roberto Cavalcanti. I have been passionate about hacking and information security since a very young age. My first interaction with a computer happened when I was 8 years old, and from that moment I became deeply interested in understanding how systems work, how they fail, and how they can be attacked.
Over the years, I have dedicated a significant amount of time to developing my skills across multiple areas of offensive security, vulnerability research and real-world attack techniques. Through participation in security communities, research environments and conferences, I have continued to expand both my technical knowledge and practical experience. These experiences also allowed me to connect with many talented people in the security community, several of whom later became close friends and mentors.
One conference that has been especially important throughout my journey is Ekoparty, which I have attended regularly since my early years in the field.
Outside of research work, I actively participate in hacking competitions and Capture The Flag (CTF) platforms, particularly Hack The Box and Vulnlab. I have maintained the #1 position in Argentina on Hack The Box for more than four years and currently reached a Top #6 worldwide ranking on the platform.
